Pastel weddings are perfect for spring, and with the spring wedding season upon us, we wanted to share a few of our go-to tips & tricks when planning a pastel themed wedding!
First…
You can make nearly any color a pastel color. Blue, pink, orange, brown, you name it! We suggest picking a few colors that you would like to include at your wedding, then create a color palette to see how those colors blend together. Blues, pinks, and purples are a common color theme, but we also see a lot of white, gold, and green as well. Don’t be afraid to be bold with your colors and try other combinations!
Additionally…
White looks best with lighter, pastel colors. Having touches of white or cream for a base at your wedding with hints of soft, subtle colors like baby blue or pastel pink will give you the perfect romantic, fairytale look you’re dreaming of. Try layering hints of green, like luscious plants, throughout your color theme to give your wedding an extra feeling of spring!
Don’t Forget…
Spring is when all the flowers start to bloom, the grass begins to turn green, and life is finally restored once again. A pastel themed spring wedding adds to the feeling of rebirth and can be perfectly paired with tulips, which blossom beautifully during this time. Other common spring flowers that you could include in your wedding are peonies, roses, and carnations.
